St. Francis loved all God’s creatures and followed God’s example of kindness, mercy, compassion, and love for all creation. On Thursday, October, 4 at 3:15 pm to honor St. Francis, we will have a blessing of the Animals in the grassy courtyard in front of the church. All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier.
The 177 Project is bringing an evening of Eucharistic Adoration and music to every diocese in the country this fall. We want to get more people spending time with Jesus and with everything that's going on in our Church right now. It's so important to remember that the Church isn't build on a priest or a Bishop or even a Pope. It’s built on the Eucharist. To help remind people of Eucharistic Adoration, we're creating a Perpetual Adoration chain to extend from the date the first 177 Project team member hits the road until the date the last member returns home. That’s a total of 2,424 hours in all. Will you join us in praying for our Church? Will you join us in praying for our country? Join us on Thursday, October 11th in the Church from 6:30-8:30pm for Prayer, Adoration, Confession & a Free Concert.
Joshua Hare - is a seminarian for the Diocese of St. Petersburg, Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in philosophy at St. John Vianney College Seminary. He is currently in his third year of theology at St. Vincent De Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach. Joshua was born in Florida and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. For the past nine years, he has lived in the city of Brooksville just north of the Tampa Bay area. He currently attends St. Anthony the Abbot with Fr. Paul Pecchie as Pastor. One of his favorite past times is watching a good movie or just hanging out with friends. One reason that he feels called to the priesthood is because he wants to bring the joy and love of Christ to his brothers and sisters through the Eucharist. Joshua looks forward to one day being able to share in the sacramental joy of Holy Orders and to serve his future bride in the Diocese of St. Petersburg.
Under the mantle of Our Lady of Guadalupe, we will pray the very powerful 54 Day Rosary Novena from the Feast of The Assumption on August 15 to the Feast of Our Lady of The Rosary on October 7 in preparation for the Rosary Coast to Coast on Sunday, October 7. The Rosary Coast to Coast is part of the Global Rosary Campaign which will unite the faithful in The United States to call upon the intercession of Our Lady of The Rosary to heal our country and return it to holiness.
Can you spend an hour a week with Jesus at our Perpetual Adoration Chapel? We have a need for people to join us in the chapel as Eucharistic adorers. Click the title to see the days and times when Jesus needs company.
