Friends & Family Ministry & CCD Advent Celebration

The Friends and Family Ministry and the Religious Education classes came together to celebrate the Advent Season. Catechists shared prayers for Advent, discussed the tree meaning of the 12 Days of Christmas, and taught how the Jesse Tree teaches us about Salvation History and the Lineage of Jesus. Families made their own Advent Wreath to take home, the children made Christmas cards for the residents of our local nursing homes, and decorated Christmas cookies for a special treat. We had a wonderful turnout! Thank you to everyone who helped bring the spirit of Advent to everyone who attended.
